Photography Contest
NDAA members are welcome to participate in a photo contest. Categories are Angus Cattle, Landscape, People, Around the Farm, and Professional Photographers. Photos will be judged during the Annual Meeting & Banquet. Photos must be printed on 5x7 or 8x10 inch glossy, photo quality paper. Submissions can be sent to Shari Wendel, 10213 68th St SE, LaMoure, ND 58458, or accepted the day of the banquet until 3 p.m. Please list your name, mailing address and category on the back of each photo. Entries should also be emailed to northdakotaangus@gmail.com.
The NDAA will be meeting at the Ramada in Bismarck for a day of informational meetings and socializing. All members and Angus enthusiasts are welcome and encouraged to attend!
A block of rooms has been reserved for a discounted rate. Call the Ramada at (701) 258-7000 and reference the North Dakota Angus Association to make your reservation.
Kid’s activities will be available for the children during the banquet, put on by the NDAA Women’s Auxiliary.
NDJAA Endowment Raffle Heifer
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all NDAA members who have generously donated a raffle heifer for the NDAA Endowment Heifer Scholarship raffle. This year, Thompson Angus of Kintyre has donated a heifer for the raffle. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased from any NDAA board member. Proceeds from the raffle are used to help support junior scholarships. The winner will be drawn at the Banquet on Saturday, November 8th with the option of winning the heifer or $1000 cash. Need not be present to win.
